Jong-Hee Park

Senior Scientist III

Dr. Jong-Hee Park is a Senior Materials Scientist working in the Energy Technology areas (Fossil, Nuclear, and Fusion) and on the Hydrogen Membrane Project funded by the US-DOE. He has been awarded Enrico Fermi Scholar within the US-DOE/U. Chicago. He has a wide background in Physical Chemistry (Solid-State Electrochemistry, Interface Science) and Metallurgical and Ceramics Engineering and has worked at the Argonne National Laboratory (1984-2006). Prior to joining Eltron he served as a Senior Science Advisor (2006-2010) at US defense industry, Alion Science and Technology.

Dr. Park has US Patents in the high temperature corrosion protection of metals via CVD and dipping processes, spent nuclear fuel recycling process, and electrical insulator coatings for a liquid metal flowing system.  He is an editor of a text book on chemical vapor deposition (CVD) published by the ASM-International.
