Mr. Fisher has been active with contract chemical engineering and consulting for Eltron Research and Development for the last 6 1/2 years. This work for outside companies has covered several varied processes including; a process demonstration unit for the Fischer-Tropsch production of diesel fuel and the preliminary front end engineering and design of a pilot scale coal gasification facility. Mr. Fisher has also assisted Eltron's sister company Continental Technologies in the development of bid packages and with their process drawings. In-house, Mr. Fisher has prepared preliminary economic viability estimates for several processes under research and development and contributed his experience and expertise in the design and construction of many bench and floor scale experimental research setups. While at Eltron prior to performing engineering duties, Mr. Fisher was involved for 3 years in the hands-on conduct of the research of basic chemical processes, primarily with the catalyst development group. This work involved the design, construction, and actual operations of bench scale catalyst screening and testing units. He also did the actual synthesis for many of catalyst being screened. Much of this work was for governmental sponsored Phase I and Phase II projects.
