Since joining Eltron in May of 2000, Mr. Mereness has been heavily involved in the technical elements of the R&D process. Over the course of his tenure at Eltron, he has taken part in a wide variety of projects, from fabricating and testing novel, high-performance composites to manufacturing and characterizing innovative catalysts designed for industrially relevant processes. Mr. Mereness’ activities include the generation of novel solutions for the government and industry. He is co-inventor of a semitransparent ESD film designed for the space industry which is currently under development for commercial application. His activities also include the design and conduction of cost-effective experiments pertinent to project goals and the collection, reduction, and presentation of the data obtained from these experiments. Mr. Mereness received his B.A. in Chemistry (with a minor in English) from Western State College in 1999. He continues to develop his skills in professionally relevant topics. He is an avid cyclist and backyard inventor, as well as being an amateur musician. |
